Madhavaram is just 20 Km. away from the rich heritage district Head Quarters , Kadapa on the high way to Chennai. This village is rehabilitated under Somasila irrigation project sub-merge area and re-built on the highway of Kadapa to Chennai.
Finally spun cottons of 100s count is being used for warp and weft. These sarees are produced in petu border and Jacquard pallove. Mostly bright and dark are used in production of Madhavaram sarees. It can be used as daily wear and occasional wear, also Mostly women belonging to urban and semi urban like to wear Madhavaram sarees.
